Generate a quote, order or invoice directly from a deal. Alano builds it from the products, quantities, pricing, currency, discounts, tax and company details already on the record — not from a free-text summary.
What it does
- Four document types: Quote for a sales proposal, Order for a purchase or sales order, Invoice for payment, or Other for a custom document driven by your instructions.
- Consistent with approved pricing: When Price Control is enabled, approved SKU pricing, discount limits, currency and tax are applied automatically, and price-controlled products carry a badge. The generated document always matches the approved figures on the deal.
- Add what is not in the record: Payment terms, support packages or other details that do not live on the deal can be added as instructions before generating.
- Regenerate before saving: Review the output, use Tweak to regenerate the content, adjust the document number if needed, then save or discard.

How do I change pricing on a generated document?
You edit the deal rather than the document — adjust the products or submit a price adjustment request. This keeps generated quotes, orders and invoices consistent with the approved figures on the deal.
What do I need to configure first?
Your organisation's legal and contact details under Settings → Organization Settings → Company Info for Docs. Those appear on every generated document.
